Dr. Abigail Wuerth

Dr. Abigail Wuerth grew up in Lincoln Park, Michigan and attended Michigan State University where she received her BS in Animal Science in 2007. She went on to obtain her DVM at The Ohio State University where she focused on companion animals. Despite the excellent education provided by the Buckeye school, she will always be a Spartan at heart. Her professional interests include small mammal medicine (rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, chinchillas, etc), internal medicine and clinical pathology. She also has a soft spot for shelter medicine and helping animals in need.

Dr. Wuerth is very compassionate and sets high customer service goals. Low-stress handling, making veterinary visits friendly and less stressful for the animals is one of her top priorities. Abigail currently has a Boxer mix named Mia, a Doberman named Odie, two cats, Dora, and Sir Wellington and one rabbit named Emma. When she is not busy with her veterinary duties, Abigail likes to spend time with friends and family. She enjoys a variety of music and dabbles in arts & crafts. Abigail looks forward to meeting you and caring for your furry family.
